Turned Our Dark Hallway into a Mini Haunted House
When I first took the Glow in the Dark Wall Crawler Gecko out of the box, it looked way more realistic than I expected, especially once we turned off the lights and those LED eyes lit up. The silicone tail and limbs have this slightly rubbery, flexible feel that helps it cling to our hallway walls and the big living room window, and the suction tech is strong enough that it actually climbs without randomly dropping off. The remote is simple enough that my 6-year-old figured out the forward/backward and 360° spin in a couple of minutes, though we noticed it does best on smooth surfaces and needs a fully charged battery to climb steadily. It’s become our go-to “scare toy” for dim evenings, and I like that it pulls the kids away from screens because they’re too busy chasing it around and planning new spooky “entrances” for the gecko.
Way Cooler (and Creepier) Than I Expected
This little gecko is way more convincing than the pictures make it look, especially when it’s glowing and scuttling up a wall. I was genuinely startled when it climbed our hallway mirror and did a quick 360° spin while my kids chased it around. The suction climbing works best on very smooth surfaces, but when it’s in its groove, it’s an awesome, spooky distraction from screens.
I haven’t screamed and laughed this hard over a toy in years!
Absolutely obsessed with this Glow in the Dark Wall Crawler Gecko! I expected a simple little crawler, but the way it actually climbs walls and windows, spins in place, and glows with those eerie LED eyes is next-level cool—my kids were shrieking and chasing it around the house. The remote is super responsive, the suction tech really works on smooth surfaces, and switching from wall-climbing to floor racing keeps the fun going way longer than any of our other remote-control toys.
